A Wyvern is a two-legged dragon with a barbed
tail frequently seen in English heraldry, and sometimes
glimpsed in the valleys of Martinez.
“Wyvern” (Big Wally) was the
18-hand Hanoverian for whom our farm was named. He now
reposes on the hill behind the barn. He is greatly missed.
